Have you ever noticed that lag always seems to last JUST long enough for you to die then it restores itself to perfect running?
Plenty of lagging out in the Tombs, must've got the 3rd and 4th area 10 times before i finally reached the end without lagging out, that was a bad week.
Lagged badly in FoW earlier doing a solo forest run. Lasted right up until the last 2 groups, 2 spiders and the remaining Wood i had to kill. Finished 1 off then managed to run off just intime to survive. Came back and killed the other with no hope of interrupting Unguent (got a key), moved forwards to attack the next group, moved back and see 2 spiders, press to activate storm chaser and run off and just stand there doing nothing... Followed by that good old screen full of damage and the words 'Your party has been defeated, return to outpost'

Lag once beat me up and took my lunch money ...
Mostly GvG and other PvP woes while monking are my worst lag experiences. Someone in another thread (speak up if it was you!) said that "Lag spike is the hardest spike-team to beat"

I think brain lag has got me in more trouble than anything else....
But seriously, I've lost shards, golds, and a few missions near the end due to lag. I have a habit I forced on myself that I do not pick up drops unless it is safe to do so, which is in my mind, when the fighting is over. So I leave high value drops out there for a couple of minutes and get hit by a disconnect.
I've seen too many groups lose because some player had to get their shard or rare weapon in the middle of a group of monsters while the fighting was very hot and heavy.

As far as I know, Treacherous Empire's Im A Paladin did not have lag. His school rebooted the network at 4 in the morning, disconnecting him while he was playing the deciding game against EvIL during the play-offs. Te lost.

I was monking Hells with a couple guildies and a couple random ppl and we were doing good until I hit lag. I pm'ed my 2 guildies and told them hey im lagging really bad and every now and then the lag would sort of subside and Id see the teams chat but I couldnt move still. Finally it let up and I could move and see chat, but not attack. The team was doing really good w/o when and I thought crap now Im gonna have to redo Hells but finally it stopped and we went and beat Hells(which was my first time completing game as well)

Does error 7 count? It doesnt have anything to do with lag whatsoever (player wasnt lagging at all, didnt disc from vent, and was able to connect immediately after) but a.net wants to make it seem so.
-23 rating ftl.

Baddest lag I can remember recently was Pulling for a Trap Group in UW. I think I must have run through something or gotten the blinky spells because I lagged and then teleported back to where the game had gone funny... and then proceeded to die (It was at the squid thingys)
Needless to say, I got a bit of an ear full for that.

Lag when I enter an area
Lag during my first battle in a area
My worst lag in GW............... Death lags. Those lags which you fight against someone and when it continue normally, you're already dead.
*Your party is defeated. Return to the outpost*

Hmm I would say worst 007 was while I was bonding in FOW for a guilded group while "trying" to clear Fow where those siege wurm looking things are. Don't know what that areas called past battlefield and forge on the right...that lill valley leading to somewhere...

A few things:
One of my best character, a lvl 20 necro, was killed by a bunch of lvl 4 grawls right outside sardelac during a 3 minute long lag. Embarrassing.
Lag forced me to do Thunderhead keep mission twice.
And this is the worst: The first Fissure armor I purchased failed because of a lag, 30 ectos, 30 obsidian shards, 15k and a bunch of materials evaporated into thin air...

I don't remember the name of the mission but I was in charge of carrying the bonus item. We were close to finishing the bonus when my character stopped moving. I remember getting a sick feeling in my gut. I quickly wrote down some names of the group's members before getting "err=7" or whatever the message is. I logged back on immediately and was called every name in the book by some of the group members. I explained what happened and I apologized to each member. I felt terrible.

Holding halls for the 4th consec round. huge lag spike, half of team gets err 7. A new build of guild wars was released when we all zoned back in so we assumed that was the problem...

Elona's Reach, we were about to get all three crystal when a lag spike kicked in and dropp 3 out of the 8 peoples in the group.

Either I get a sudden burst of REALLY bad lag or I don't get it at all. I just got lag 5 min ago. The game just freezes but I can still turn and look left and right and move my mouse cursor. I also can open windows still but I can't move or attack or cast spells and if I try and talk nothing comes up in the conversation box. Had to close my game when I was in the middle of a mission

I was with an 8 man team in Fow and we had just gotten to that area with the Banshee's and the wailing lords. I started lagging bad while attacking a banshee and I couldn't keep up with my healing duties. The team started falling fast. When it was just me and one other guy (tank) I saw that in the lag storm a banshee had dropped an Ecto for me. The Tank started heading for the Wailing Lord and I finally got a sense of what was going on my message of "DON'T ATTACK" couldn't get through in time, he killed it and thus killed us both and I lost the ecto.

Worst thing?
Many times in the middle of mission, GvG... err=07...
